Cathy trains exclusively at Animal Lodge™ at Alameda East Veterinary Hospital. With a little work, some planning, and forethought, your dog will be an effortless, well-behaved companion for years to come. It is important to recognize that first impressions are lasting ones and habits begin to develop from day one. Basic obedience instills good manners and habits. And, good habits are as hard to break as bad ones!

Puppy Class:

Designed for the youngster 8 weeks to 8 months old, this class focuses on imprinting and foundation for the basic commands. A must-have for the well mannered pup, it involves behavior problem solving, health care, grooming, and lots of love and social interaction.
Classes are one day per week for 5 weeks. $150

Basic Obedience:

This course is designed to begin perfecting the basic commands: sit, down, stay, heel on lead, and come, with emphasis on manners and social skills. All dogs 8 months and up may participate. This class provides an excellent format to reinforce puppy class training, too.
Classes are once a week for 5 weeks. $185

Intermediate Course:

Designed for the active dog, this course is for the dog that wants more out of life. This is high level obedience training at its best using the drives of the dog.   It includes all the basic exercises, plus in-motion sits, downs and off lead heeling.
Classes are once a week for 6 weeks. $285

Specialized Training:

We also offer limited private sessions and AKC Canine Good Citizen Certification.
